How to build an indoor bicycle trainer?
Would like some help as Im thinking of building one myself.
Please don't attempt what ryoohki166 is recommending. That simply won't work. Waste of your time and possibly injure yourself.
M R gave you a good answer. You see the forces on the trainer stand are pretty substantial, and engineers have built the device to withstand such. Even if you were a professional welder--I asked one--the materials you need would probably cost more than buying a trainer.
